Abstract
Storage film () serving to produce latent X-ray images in lieu of conventional X-ray film, containing storage particles () which are held together by a binding agent () and in which metastable electronic excited states can be produced. The refractive index of the binding agent () and the storage particles () are selected in such a way that they are equally high so that the storage layer () formed by the storage particles () and the binding agent () behave like an optically homogenous body.
