Abstract
There is provided an optical communication device in which a plurality of landsandof the printed boardconnected to a plurality of main signal leadsandof a co-axial laser diode moduleare brought in proximity to the endof the printed boardand a landof the printed boardconnected to an auxiliary signal leadof the laser diode moduleis situated farther away from the endof the printed boardthan the landsand. As a result, lengths of the main signal leadsandcan be shortened, and this limits degradation of pulse shapes of main signals and high-frequency characteristics of the device.
