Abstract
A cold rolling method and apparatus for forming an annular workpiece () with an outer surface () having a given contour and an inner surface () having a given contour, starting from an annular blank. A rotatable forming mandrel () has a working surface () with a contour corresponding to that of inner surface () to be formed. A forming die () has a cavity () with an inner working surface () in form of a surface of revolution corresponding to the outer surface () to be formed.
