Abstract
A method and an arrangement for detecting impedance mismatch between an output of a radio frequency amplifier () which has an amplifying component (Q) and an input of a load () coupled to the output of the radio frequency amplifier having: first monitoring means () to monitor a measurable electric effect () at a side of the amplifying component (Q) other than the load () and to produce a first measurement signal (). Second monitoring means () monitor a measurable electric effect () between the amplifying component (Q) and the load () and produce a second measurement signal (). Decision-making means () receive said first () and second () measurement signals and decide, whether said first and second measurement signals together indicate impedance mismatch.
