Abstract

It is proposed, for better efficacity of the ATN aeronautical telecommunication network, that the requests for logons through the ATN network originating from non-ATC applications be subjected to a validation of the addresses requested by means of two availability tables kept up-to-date and placed in the terminal hosting the applications asking for logons. One of the tables relates to the availability of the local applications and serves to advise the remote terminals. The other table relates to the availability of the remote applications and serves for the validation of the logon requests emanating from the local applications.
