Abstract
An initiating mobile station () subscribes to a wireless communication system () for mobile communication service. A wireless remote access server (WRAS) () interacts with the wireless communication system as a subscribing mobile station would, but provides network connectivity to data information network, such as the Internet (). The WRAS includes radio devices () for communicating with the wireless communication system, and network control and routing (). The WRAS sets up a network session with the target (or) to facilitate communication between the initiating mobile station and the target, via the wireless communication system and the network.
