Abstract
A water cooling device of a vertical multi-cylinder engine includes a cylinder block () one side wall of which is provided with a side water passage () running along a longitudinal direction of the cylinder block (). The cylinder block () has an interior area provided with a cylinder jacket (). Cooling water from a radiator is introduced into the cylinder jacket () through the side water passage (). The side water passage () has an outlet () toward a lower portion of the cylinder jacket ().
