Abstract

Process for rendering inert an ash originating from the incineration of municipal waste, according to which the ash is subjected successively to treatment () with a water-soluble phosphate () in the presence of water, under conditions adjusted to crystallize hydroxyapatite and/or whitlockite, and to calcination (). Artificial pozzolana, obtained by subjecting an ash originating from the incineration of municipal waste to such an inerting process.
