Abstract

The invention relates to an adjustment device () for an internal combustion engine, particularly for adjustment of shafts with adjusting members. Heretofore known open/close switches are relatively large and cost-intensive in their production. For this reason, an adjustment device () is proposed, in which a set of gears () simply comprising a worm () and a partial ring worm gear () wherein pin magnets are disposed on the partial ring worm gear. The pin magnets () work functionally together with a non-moving switch () disposed in a housing () when a signal is produced by means of the magnetic field of the magnets () passing by the switch (), which stops motor () and, as the case may be, predetermines a direction change. Thus, a right/left movement of the motor (), along with a timely turning off of the motor can be achieved with only one external control signal.
