Abstract

A toner comprises toner particles comprising at least a binder resin, a colorant, and a sulfur-containing resin, in which the toner particles comprise the sulfur-containing resin so as to satisfy a relation of; 0.50≦I/T≦0.95 where Tdenotes a content of sulfur in the toner particles, and Idenotes a content of sulfur in isopropyl alcohol insoluble components of the toner particles, whereby it is possible to obtain a high quality image having an excellent developing resistance regardless of the surrounding conditions and a uniform charge amount distribution regardless of processing speed.
