Abstract
A reversible one-way clutch () is positioned in parallel with a friction pack () to drive a planetary transmission () in low gear and reverse. The clutch () has a biasing plate () secured to its surface to bias the clutch () in a direction so that the transmission () operates in either low gear or reverse gear. The biasing plate () is hydraulically actuated to bias the clutch () between low gear, neutral, and reverse gear.
