Abstract
A roll changer for a web-treating or web-processing machine, or a web-fed printing press is provided. The roll changer includes a first roll arm () with a first axle journal (), which can be pivoted about a pivot axis (), and a second roll arm () with a second axle journal (), which can be pivoted about the pivot axis () together with the first roll arm (). The axle journals () form a rotary mount for a web roll () taken up between the roll arms (). A first stripper () is assigned to the first axle journal () and can be moved in relation to the first axle journal (), in order to strip the web roll () from the first axle journal (). A drive () is provided for pivoting the roll arms () and moving the first stripper (). A control device () controls the drive () for a manual removal of a web roll () so that the web roll () mounted on the axle journal () is stripped by the first stripper () from the first axle journal (), while it remains on the second axle journal ().
