Abstract
A hydrokinetic coupling apparatus for a motor vehicle including a crankcase (), designed to link in rotation, about an axis X, an input shaft to an impeller wheel; a turbine wheel () designed to be linked in rotation to an output shaft () via hub () and a flange () transversely oriented extending radially outwards relative to the hub; a lockup clutch () coupling the input and output () shafts comprising a piston () for releasably connecting the turbine wheel () to a substantially transverse wall () of the crankcase () against which the piston () is urged to lock the coupling; and at least a friction stop () interposed axially between the turbine wheel () and the piston (). A friction stop () is arranged radially beyond the outer periphery () of the flange ().
