Abstract
A voltage control apparatusfor a vehicle generatorhas an input terminal L for inputting the voltage of a batterythrough an ignition switchand a light emitting element (light emitting diode) connected in series with the ignition switch and driven by a low dissipation power, and starts the excitation of the rotor coilof the vehicle generatorwhen the voltage at the input terminal L exceeds a predetermined value. A resistorfor limiting the current flowing through the light emitting diodeis disposed between an elementwithin the voltage control apparatusfor driving the light emitting diodeand the input terminal L.
