Abstract
The invention relates to a method for the production of hydroxyalkyl polysiloxanes of general formula (V) (SiO)(RSiO)(RSiO)(RSiO)[OSiR—(CR)—OH][OH](V), wherein organosiloxanes of general formula (VI) (SiO)(RSiO)(RSiO)(RSiO)[OH](VI) containing silanol are made to react with compounds having at least one unit of general formula (IV) [O—(CR)—SiR]—(IV).
