Abstract

A system for operating a door lock () and a latching device (), which can be arrested in a positive-locking manner, of a sliding door (), said latching device preventing the sliding door () in its open position from sliding back. In order to avoid very long connecting elements with cumulative tolerances, the connecting elements () between the door handles and the door lock () have driver elements () which act via a driven element () on a connecting element () connected to the latching device ().
