Abstract
A method of providing symptomatic relief from sleep induced insomnia in a patient comprising administering an effective amount of R-(+)-α-(2,3-Dimethoxyphenyl)-1-[2-(4-fluorophenyl)ethyl]-4-piperidinemethanol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to a patient in need of such treatment.
