Abstract

A female connector (F) has female terminal fittings (), female auxiliary housings () for accommodating the female terminal fittings (), and a female frame for accommodating the female auxiliary housings (). A male connector (M) has male terminal fittings () with tabs (), male auxiliary housings () for accommodating the male terminal fittings (), and a male frame () with a receptacle () for accommodating the male auxiliary housings () and into which the female connector (F) is fittable. A moving plate () is movable backward in the receptacle and has positioning holes () into which the tabs () are introduced. The moving plate () has positioning projections (), and the female auxiliary housings () has positioning recesses () engageable with the positioning projections (). Thus, the moving plate () and the female auxiliary housings () can be positioned with respect to each other.
