Abstract
The invention relates to a melt launder () comprising a bottom and edged, said melt launder being particularly meant to be used for tapping a molten phase, such as slag, from a smelting furnace, which melt launder is manufactured of copper or copper alloy and provided with cooling channels (), so that at the bottom () of the melt launder (), there is arranged at least one groove ().
