Abstract
An LCD device includes a transparent glass plateand thin film transistor electrodesformed on the glass plate. A photosensitive insulation filmis coated on the glass plateand the thin film transistor electrodes. The insulation filmincludes transparent and reflective regionsandwhich are different in thickness. Light shielding filmsare positioned underneath boundaries of the transparent and reflective regionsand. Where an optical exposure stage includes different reflection coefficient portions, the light shielding filmsprevent light reflected by the exposure stage from reaching the insulation film thereby maintaining the accuracy of its patterning.
