The first pin () has a first end (A) disposed within the housing () and a second end (B) disposed outside the housing (). A second electrically conductive pin () that has a third end (A) within the housing () and spaced apart from the first end (A) forms a gap () therebetween. A fourth end (B) of the second electrically conductive pin () is disposed outside the housing (). The arc gage () may be a stand alone device or used as part of a spark checking device that includes a device housing a voltage generator and a wand () that is electrically coupled to the power terminal of a voltage generator () disposed within the device housing ().
