Abstract
A punch press capable of carrying out various processing with few tools, and the exchanging of cartridges efficiently. The punch press includes a punch framehaving upper and lower transferring and loading pathswherein upper and lower cartridgesloaded with a punch tool and a die tool, respectively, move in or move out freely. A ramdrives the punch tool of the upper cartridge. The transferring and loading pathsare employed wherein the upper and lower cartridgesare capable of being stored and discharged to the inside and the outside of the press frameindependently. The upper and lower transferring and loading pathsare capable of storing at least two cartridgesto the front and the back of the moving-in and moving-out direction. The cartridge transferring and loading pathsare capable of transferring independently the front and back cartridges
