Abstract

A liquid dilution device is provided to prevent choking at a jet for adjusting the flow amount of a special liquid. In the liquid dilution device in which the special liquid from a liquid supply passageof a liquid intake device, is introduced to a diluent passageformed in a main bodythrough a jet, an air intake openingand a plugto open and close the air intake openingare provided at the liquid intake deviceto connect the liquid supply passageand atmospheric air. At the state that air from the air intake opening can be introduced to the diluent passagethrough the jetwith the plugopened, high velocity air passes through the jetdue to negative pressure generated at the diluent passage, by making water pass through the diluent passage. Due to the high velocity air, the special liquid stuck to the jetis removed and the jetis cleaned.
