Abstract
A method in an amplifier, for example, a power amplifier in a wireless transmitter, including monitoring () a characteristic of the amplifier during a first active interval of the first set of active intervals, storing () the amplifier characteristic monitored during the first active interval of the first set of active intervals, correcting () an open-loop control signal to the amplifier based on the stored amplifier characteristic monitored during the first active interval of the first set of active intervals, and providing () the corrected control signal during a second active interval of the set of first active intervals subsequent to the first active interval of the set of first active intervals.
