Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds of the formulawhich are formed during fermentation by the microorganismUdagawa, DSM 13856, or by one of its mutations and/or variants, and chemically derivatized if appropriate. The invention furthermore relates to a process for preparing compounds of the formula (I), and to their use as pharmaceuticals. In addition, the invention relates to the use of a compound of the formula (VI)for producing a pharmaceutical for the treatment and prophylaxis of degenerative neuropathics or of Alzheimer's disease.
