Abstract

The present invention describes difluororthioacetamide oxazolidinones of formula I:R is —CH— or —CHCH—; Rand Rare independently —H or —F; X is —CH—; Y is —SO—, —SO—, or —SONR—; and Ris —H or —Calkyl. These compounds are useful to treat infectives diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
