Abstract

The unbalanced feeding antenna elementis fed power from one end and placed on the upper surface of the circuit substrate. The passive elementhas open both ends, is set to a length corresponding to a predetermined frequency, placed in substantially parallel to the unbalanced feeding elementplaced on the circuit substrateat a distance of approximately 1/10 or less of a wavelength at a frequency used for transmission/reception. This suppresses the antenna current flowing into the circuit substrateto a minimum level and makes radiation from the passive elementdominant compared to radiation from the circuit substrate. This makes it possible to suppress a reduction in the antenna gain caused by the human body when the user uses the communication terminal apparatus.
