Abstract
A UV-assisted advanced-ozonation water treatment system comprises a water treating tank, an ozonic water tank, an ozonized gas generator, and a UV light sourcedisposed in the water treating tankand having a UV-radiating surface, and an ozonic water jetting device including jetting nozzlesfor jetting the ozonic water onto the UV-radiating surface of the UV light source. An ozonized gas diffusing deviceis placed in the ozonic water tank. An ozonized gas generated by the ozonized gas generatorand compressed by a compressorat a pressure in the range of about 2 to about 3 kg/cmis diffused into the ozonic water tankby the ozonized gas diffusing device. A high-pressure, a high-ozone-concentration ozonic water produced in the ozonized water tankis jetted through the jetting nozzlesonto the UV-radiating surface
