Abstract
A liquid crystal composition containing at least one compound selected from compounds of formula (1) and formula (2) as a first component, at least one compound selected from compounds of formula (3) as a second component, and at least one compound selected from compounds of formula (4) as a third component:wherein Ris alkyl; Ris alkyl or alkenyl; Zand Zare independently a single bond or —(CH)—; Xis hydrogen or fluorine; and Yis fluorine or —OCF.
