Abstract
This invention has an object of diminishing an inside diameter while securing the area of the terminal edge larger, at the extremity of a cylindrical body made of a metal used for a vibration isolating bushing and the like. Accordingly, the present invention provides a manufacturing method of vibration isolating bushingserving to stick the rubber elastomerto the outer circumference of an inner cylindermade of a metal by means of vulcanization forming, by diminishing in diameter the extremityby cold plastic working while turning a diameter diminishing jigand pressing against the circumferential surface of the axial extremityof the inner cylinder, and further by enlarging and forming the terminal edgeby cold plastic working while turning an upsetting jigand pressing against the terminal edgeat the extremitybeing diminished in diameter.
