Automation equipment executes a real-time program for carrying out monitoring/control in an automation application. The automation equipment includes a USB connector connected via a USB bus driver circuit to an internal bus. The automation equipment also includes a software task in charge of controlling a flow of communications exchanged via the USB connector with remote equipments.
