Abstract
An antenna system () for use within a communication device () is disclosed. The communication device () including a signal source (), a main housing () and a movable flip housing () moveably coupled to the main housing () through a hinge assembly (). The hinge assembly () being comprised of a hinge shaft, a first knuckle () coupled to one side of the hinge shaft, and a second knuckle () coupled to an opposing side of the hinge shaft. The antenna system () includes at least one of the knuckles of the hinge assembly ().
