Abstract
A plurality of machine elements, such as needles (), are combined into a shipping unit () by material connections, such as an adhesive bond, and this shipping unit can be easily transported and stored. The machine elements can easily be separated by hand or with simple tools and inserted individually, for instance into the needle tracks of a knitting machine.
