Abstract
A method and system for interactive case and video-based teacher training is provided. The invention includes a server portionand a client portion. A media database, a video assignment or video assessment database, an administration database, and a user databaseinteract with a computer systemand with a lesson-builder programand a lesson viewer programin order to allow for the development of time-indexed video case-centric lessons and courses, which are stored in a lesson database. The computer systemcommunicates with a plurality of client computersvia a browser program, allowing teacher-users or general users to interact with the lesson-builder programand the lesson viewer programfor the creation and use of lessons. The lessons generated and used in the present invention are video-centric, and the present invention provides for the use of time-coded or time-indexed references to relevant portions of the video.
