Abstract
A signal processing apparatus () includes a power supply input (), a power supply connection () and a power supply output (). A supply voltage generator () is connected to the power supply input () via disconnection circuit (). A detector (), provided in the area of the power supply connection (), enables a supply of power to the power supply output () to be detected and, when a supply of power to the power supply output () is detected, enables the disconnection circuit () to be set, via a control circuit (), to a state in which the power supply input () and the supply voltage generator () are connected.
