Abstract
An europium activated cesium bromide phosphor having the formula of CsBr:xEu [0<x≦0.2], in which a relationship between an emission intensity (I) of Euand a coloring intensity (I) at F(Br) center satisfies the condition of 0.2≦I×I, and/or in which a ratio of Euto Eucontained in the phosphor in terms of emission intensity satisfies the condition of 5×10≦Eu/Eu≦0.1 gives an increased stimulated emission amount and is favorably employed for producing a radiation image storage sheet.
