Abstract
An expansion valveincludes a square rod-shaped valve body. A first pathinto which refrigerant is introduced, a valve chamberformed near the bottom of the path, a second pathfor refrigerant heading toward an evaporator and a third pathfor refrigerant returning from the evaporator are provided to the valve body.
