Abstract
There is provided an EL device sealing plate for which a drop in transparency is suppressed. An organic EL deviceis comprised of a substrate, an organic EL layered bodythat is formed on the substrate, and a sealing platethat has been formed into a recessed shape so as to cover the organic EL layered body. The sealing plateexhibits a parallel transmittance of not less than 91.5% and a haze of not more than 0.5%.
