Abstract
A dry refractory composition having superior resistance to crack propagation. The dry refractory composition includes at least matrix material, filler lightweight material, and metal fibers. The composition also may include dense refractory aggregate. The dry refractory composition is suitable for use in containing heat in metal containment and other applications.
