Abstract

Power tool () may include solenoid coil () that functions as a drive source for plunger (). Battery () may be connected with solenoid coil (), battery () supplying a current to solenoid coil (). Solenoid coil () may store magnetic energy while current from battery () flows through solenoid coil (). The magnetic energy stored in solenoid coil () may be transformed into kinetic energy of plunger (), whereby plunger () being moved from a first position to a second position. The magnetic energy stored in solenoid coil () is determined by the current flowing through solenoid coil () and has no relationship with the voltage of battery (). Consequently, sufficient power can be conveyed to plunger () even if the voltage of battery () is low.
