Abstract

A device, a method, an adjusting device, and a mobile system for providing location-dependent information. It is proposed to use a device () which utilizes a navigation system () to detect its own position within an environment in relation to a map (), in order to reproduce the location-dependent information. The device has a reproduction device () for providing the information (I. . . Im) associated with the corresponding locations (P. . . Pn). To store the information, a storage medium () is provided either locally in the device or in a central data memory () of a server () that is separate from the device.
