Abstract

The present invention relates to an automatic programming and simulation apparatus which can easily modify an automatically created NC program and start a machining simulation from a modified portion of the NC program. The automatic programming and simulation apparatus comprises: A simulation section () adapted to receive a coordinate position linputted on a screen image displayed on the display device (), to detect process specification related to a pixel corresponding to the inputted coordinate position, to transmit the detected process specification information to an interactive inputting/editing section (), and to cause the interactive inputting/editing section to perform a data editing operation for a machining process specified by the process specification information received by the interactive inputting/editing section.
