Abstract
A liquid crystal device, that is, an electrooptic device, has a second electrodeprovided so as to oppose a first electrode, and a liquid crystal provided between the first electrodeand the second electrode. This liquid crystal devicefurther has a first substrateon which the first electrodeis provided and a wirewhich is formed on the first substrateand is electrically connected to the second electrodeat a conduction position. Since the wireextends inside the conduction position, the picture frame region that is outside a sealing materialcan be decreased.
