Resin modified elastomers, methods of making them and their uses. The method for making the elastomers comprises reacting in a diluent an ≡SiH functional siloxane; a diene, diyne or ene-yne compound, a resin having the formula (RSiO)(SiO)(RSiO)where each Ris independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms or an unsaturated hydrocarbon group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms x is ≧1, y≧0, z≧0 and y+z≧1.
