Abstract
The invention relates to a hydrophilic cotton pad for skin-care exhibiting a specific surface weight of at least 150 g/m, and having two different outer sides of which the fibers are entangled. In the invention, the first outer side has hollow striae apart by a spacing sbetween 1 and 8 mm and having a depth d of at least 0.25 mm and wherein at least 50% of the fibers are entangled. The pad of the invention is used to apply skin-care products, such as cosmetics, to the skin.
