Abstract

The invention relates to a board-type runner device (), in particular a ski () or a snowboard, comprising several layers disposed between a running surface lining () and a top layer (), with a top belt () lying closest to the top layer () and/or a bottom belt () lying closest to the running surface lining () of a highly tensile material. In conjunction with a core disposed between the layers, these layers form a multi-layered element and at least one profiled section () is provided in the core. At least a part-region of the outer surface of the profiled section () is embedded or inlaid in a layer () of an elastic synthetic material, preferably a layer () of expanded synthetic material above the profiled section () that is flexible and elastically resilient under the action of forces.
