Abstract
A duct () is made up of a plurality of layers () of pliant material. The layers () are attached by stitching () to form pockets () between adjacent layers. One of the layers () is wider than the others and extends over the lateral edges () of those layers (), and when the stitching () is applied, a loop () is formed. The loop () receives a strength member () which may be engaged by a clamp () carried by a bracket () which may be attached to a utility pole () to carry the duct () overhead. In another embodiment, a duct () includes enclosed loops () forming pockets (). Stitching () connects the loops () and forms another loop () to receive a strength member (). In yet another embodiment, the layers (and) are of different lateral widths, and the longest layer () extends around one of the edges of the other layers () to form a loop () when stitching () is applied. The loop () receives the strength member ().
