Abstract
A panel () for protecting a portion of a structure such as a window () includes a frame member () made up of four channel members () interconnected by corner members (). One end of each channel member () includes an opening to receive an edge of a sheet () of flexible material. The sheet () is provided with a thickened area () near each edge thereof. A fabric locking and stretching member () closes the opening in each channel member () and engages the thickened area () of the fabric sheet () to stretch the sheet () within the frame member ().
