Abstract
A telescopic boom () for a vehicle () or a hoist with a storage rack () for at least two box girders () guided displaceably in one another in the direction of their longitudinal axes, which are mounted to pivot about a horizontal pivot axle () in the storage rack () and which can be displaced reciprocally by means of a servo-drive () is described. In order to create advantageous structural conditions it is proposed that the longitudinal axles of the box girders () form an upwards arched arc of a circle () which runs concentrically to a common axis parallel to the pivot axis ().
