Abstract

A method and an arrangement in which the assemblies or assembly parts like fiber lengths, opto- and optoelectronic components are transferred between processing modules (). The assembly parts () including a fiber length () are arranged on a pallet means (), which is transferred on a track () between the different processing modules. A free end () of the optical fiber length is picked up by a robot device () and is processed at one of the processing modules. Finally, the robot device holding the fiber end and the pallet means are transferred to another processing module in a common sequence.
